94.7 KTTS Nominated for Country Music Association Station of the Year-Morning Show Personalities also Tapped in Awards Lineup

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Sept. 10, 2021) — SummitMedia, LLC today announced that Country 94.7 KTTS in Springfield is among the nominees for the Country Music Association (CMA) 2021 Broadcast Awards. KTTS is nominated for the CMA’s Small Market Country Station of the Year. Additionally, KTTS hosts Nancy Simpson and Rick Moore, and the KTTS Morning Show, are a contender for Small Market Broadcast Personalities of the Year. "Our team is passionate about entertaining and supporting our community. I'm proud of the work they do every day,” said Janelle Moffett, President and General Manager of SummitMedia Springfield. “It's an honor for our station and morning team to be recognized with these nominations." CMA CEO Sarah Trahern said “The 55th Annual CMA Awards” honor the superstars, new artists and emerging creators who are paving the way for Country Music. They also acknowledge and celebrate country radio stations’ service to their listeners, community service and leadership.

The honor is not new to KTTS. Ozarks’ heritage country station has been nominated seven consecutive years and won CMA Station of the Year in 2016 and 2018. KTTS has served Springfield and Ozarks of Missouri since 1972. It celebrates its 50th year in the Country format and service to the community in March 2022. The CMA awards air Nov. 10 on ABC.
